Realización de la Obra

(detalles)

The Quintaescencia for me is lived through the simplest moments of life, sharing and learning to receive from others, something difficult in these times to learn to receive.

Thanks also to that human attachment we have by nature, food and sharing with others in moments of any kind, cheerful, dramatic, light, tense; Many of us would agree that we have lived in the kitchen of our homes or in the house of a friend / acquaintance. The parties begin and end in the kitchens, the midday meals discussing topics of all kinds, the passion of a night at home with the couple or some lover; all these moments we live in the kitchen and the food has a great bond / attachment to these circumstances. Sharing is something vital for the human being.

I like the idea of playing themes of somewhat sacred connotation landing them in very real and everyday scenes. in this case a simple meal in the afternoon sharing with friends, joining the four elements the water of a soup, the land of the condiments, the air that feeds the fire of the stove, to achieve that quintessential etér that we all live when we share .

In this work I try to portray a scene of when I had just arrived to live in Guadalajara. For that moment I met four friends who met some Sundays to cook and share, I always loved that dynamic,
